The Time of Our Lives

Far in the future, an invading scourge of combative spacefaring aliens have rapidly expanded into our solar system, hell bent on the eradication of our species. 

They have thus far dealt incalculable damage to our planet and its inhabitants due to their ability to harness the power of time crystals which they utilise to traverse though time and invade different periods in our history, eradicating key infrastructure and personnel. 

Outside of a top secret and newly constructed chrono-ship in Earth’s orbit that exists within a protective time bubble that has shielded it from harm, the rest of humanity quickly fell to time incursions by the enemy. The balance of power now rests with your minimal crew and as a fledgling member of this force, it is up to you to locate and travel to moments in time that are under attack and remove the enemy using whatever means necessary. 

Each invasion force located has in their possession one of these time crystals and once these have been secured you can safely return to your ship and harness its powers to continue the fight elsewhere.
